Nineteen85 Films is proud to announce our first class series starting summer 2022.
1. ACTING FOR THE CAMERA – Thursday Nights
Sign up for our first ever Acting for the Camera class series! Want to increase your confidence in front of the camera? Switching from stage to screen?
During the 6-week long series you will prep a monologue or duo and learn the nuances that embellish your on-camera technique. We’ll start with cold reads and end with a finished product. This class series is designed for actors to get more comfortable in front of the camera, but experienced actors are welcome to expand their skills as well. Enjoy a low pressure, supportive environment – we’re here to have a good time!
Classes take place on Thursday nights (7-9pm) starting mid-June. Recommended age 40+. Minimum 4 participants. Maximum 8 participants.
At the end of the class you will get an .mp4 file with your edited monologue / duo (1080p).

2. ACTOR’S PREP WORKSHOP – Saturdays
Sign up for our weekend Actor’s Prep Workshop! Want to increase your confidence during auditions? Ready to gear up for your next big opportunity?
During this workshop you will get familiarized with the audition process and learn what directors are looking for. If you’ve ever felt unsure of yourself, now is the time to learn and hone your skills. After we get into the basics, we will prepare for the unexpected – real-world scenarios! This workshop is designed for actors who are anticipating regular auditions, but anyone is welcome if you want a refresher or simply need to get back into it.
Classes take place Saturdays (10:30am-12:00pm) starting mid-June. All ages. Minimum 4 participants. Maximum 8 participants.
At the end of the class you will get an .mp4 file with your practice audition (1080p).
