Our Team

The Nineteen85 Films team!

Hilary Davidson

Director, Co-Writer, Founding Partner

Upon walking onto her first film set, Hilary discovered a compelling mix of talented people with varying backgrounds and felt this was home. In embracing the creative process, she is driven by the constraints of each medium that comprise a film. Originally from Santa Cruz, CA she has studied theatre, dance, music and photography which sparked an endless desire to pursue creative outlets. She has directed the short films Mistaken and Turning Tables and has worked on several other short film projects in the Bay Area. Her film, Turning Tables, which is about how people change over time, received “Best Creative Short” at CreaTV’s Creative’s Celebration and “Best Drama” at the Austin Micro Short Film Festival.

Hilary co-founded Nineteen85 Films and joins the team as Director.
